Interview Journal Entry

On Mission St. in San Francisco one can find a small sandwich shop simply called The Sandwich Place owned by a man named Juan. The shop was originally funded with a combination of loans and savings and has been going strong for years. To make the quality of the sandwiches better and to expand into catering services, Juan decided to go to culinary school, and the dividends from this have paid off many times over. In the future, Juan hopes to expand by starting several more franchises across the city, but despite current profits he will need more loans to do so.
